It tooks us a while to move Jiejie out from our room after Little Bomber was born.
Kids' room was then developed.
Bit by bit.
Piece by piece.
For example, the curtains is the latest addition.
I sewn it 2 weeks ago.

I agree that, the fabric isn't really fascinating to the taste of the room,

or mine.
A simple thought was, would it be good for an experiment, if I fail?
But it turned out, to be a joy to see the finishing.
Who would have thought there isn't any proper curtain for this room
since we moved in 3 years ago!!!

Mobile in the middle, Jiejie's artworks on one side of the wall and the wall decal on the other side.
Not forgetting a stand fan at 1 corner and another corner cluttered with kids toys and... toys.

Jiejie's artworks proudly display in the room. |
as I sometime need it to snuggle little Bomber to sleep.

It has been daunting with some unsuccessful and uncertainty of Primary School registration this week.
Snapping pictures and re-organising things in the room somehow heal my disappointment.
As we maybe going through the process of "torturing" for another week or two.
I need to reposition.

Good job. I'm also in the process of making the girls room homier. But I refuse to splurge. Cleaning kind of help me to distress too. I hope you are ok.

ReplyDeleteI just...so in love of the room. Your photos just make me feel guity (sign) I didn't do all those 'set up' a room for my 2 boys and girl still sleep in my room...My 2 boys room also using as a 'study room' for them (actualy I am the one in the room more than them - using pc) and it look more like store room. !_!
ReplyDeleteBeen wanting to do up my boy's room but so far have only bought some decorative stuff but didn't progress any further. Anyway, great job there, mommy!!

ReplyDeleteLovely! I love the artwork and that fun mobile!
ReplyDeleteThanks yeelee, Medeline, MamaJ and Corsage:).
ReplyDeleteGreat job on sewing the curtains! It is not easy to do large projects like curtains or quilts...I am more of a mini projects crafter, prefer smaller format items to sew. Lovely room for the kids, especially with the personal touches of the artwork.
ReplyDeleteHi, may I ask where did you get the multi-tier rack? They are so beautiful, and I thought it'll be useful to keep my precious' toys!
ReplyDeleteTIA!
