Showcasing Her Work, Once Again

Towards the end of last year,
we were called to meet the teachers.
We chat.
We thank the teachers.
We bid goodbye.
She had a wonderful time altogether.

As part of the conclusion of her learning journey with them for a very good 3 years,
we were handed over a stack of her works and progress reports.
I realized that it is an end to her preschool journey.
I tasted first bite of bittersweet as a mother.
My little baby is no longer a preschooler.

I flipped through her works.
Some are really cute,
some are messy;
some are whimsy,
some put a smile on my face.
And I wonder how to treasure them all.

I showcase them!
some of them.
Her work during her preschool time.
In my kitchen.
A celebration to a marvelous milestone!
For the longest time it can be!

    1. I have too many in the drawer... It's a good way to calm me when she push the wrong button and drive we up to the wall! hahaha

  3. Ohhh nice! I remember seeing an idea somewhere - we can take pictures of their nice works, and then print them all together on one big sheet (grouped by age perhaps?), and then frame that up. I'll get to that.... somday! Right now, everything is pasted on our store room door :P

  4. My boy has some art work in school displayed in the classroom now. I wonder if I can get them back :) I would love to display his art pieces like what you're doing. My friend has another way of doing it. She has this long string in one corner of the living room and she clips the art pieces along it (think hanging laundry.. hahaha). I thought it looks quite nice too.
